ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Zinc Oxide aids the skin with wound healing properties. It is a skin protectant that is used to treat and prevent various skin conditions including minor abrasions, burns, chafing, diaper rash, insect bites, and minor skin irritation. WIth the addition that it acts as a protective layer on the skin to lock moisture in, while keeping pathogens out.
Propolis extract has antimicrobial and antifungal properties and seems to have activity against bacteria and viruses. When used externally and rubbed onto the skin, bee propolis can help to soothe inflammations and reduce pain in affected areas.
Propolis has been used by many civilizations throughout our history, back to as early as 350 B.C. The ancient Assyrians and Greeks used propolis for healing wounds and treating abscesses and tumours. The Egyptians have also used it for mummification.
Contains herbal infused oils, crafted biodynamically with the moon and sun. Calendula, Chamomile and Lavender flowers are infused in cold-pressed oils to obtain their healing properties.
The water phase in this lotion is my artisan produced Lavender Hydrolate, distilled in a traditional copper alembic still.

THE RITUAL
Apply to the skin at any time with a gentle massage. Leaving a layer over the affected area.
If neccessary, protect the area with a light fitting gauze or breathable clothing made from a natural non-irritating material.
TIPS
Apply before bed and wear a loose fitting, breathable material to help your skin regenerate overnight.
